Advanced PMSM & BLDC Observation

Utilizing precise 3-phase current measurement combined with state-of-the-art magnetic saliency tracking and flux observers. The state observer dynamically calculates the exact rotor position under heavy loads for both PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors) and high-pole BLDC motors.

Versatile Servo Motor Control

Perfectly adapt this FOC controller to any operational requirement with seamless switching between Velocity, Torque, and Position loops. Receive high-speed commands via CAN-FD or UART, and close the position loop locally for smooth, coordinated movements in multi-axis robotic arms.

High Power BLDC Driver Output

Engineered for extreme performance, easily handling up to 60A of peak phase current and 70V maximum input voltage. A robust direct-thermal PCB layout, paired with an integrated aluminum heatsink plate, guarantees stable power delivery under high continuous loads.

Saliency Tracking Oscilloscope Signals

Zero-Speed Saliency Tracking

In standard sensorless FOC, the motor must be spinning to generate Back-EMF for the controller to estimate rotor position. At zero or low speeds, Back-EMF drops to zero, rendering standard controllers blind.

VDriveMotion solves this by utilizing high-frequency signal injection (HFSI). By injecting high-frequency voltage into the windings, the controller dynamically maps the rotor's magnetic saliency (inductance variations). This provides full sensorless torque control at absolute zero speed—giving you the performance of a physical encoder without the hardware cost or weight, ideal for demanding robotic start-up and holding applications.

  • Signal Injection: We continuously inject high-frequency voltage into the motor phases (Vhf).
  • Ripple Analysis: As the rotor shifts, its inductance variation dynamically modulates the resulting high-frequency current ripple (Ihf).
  • Advanced Flux Observers: Real-time processing extracts these inductance variations to calculate the exact rotor position (θest) with zero hardware encoders.
  • Silent Operation: Advanced control frequencies and ultra-smooth phase currents guarantee completely silent running.

Seamless BLDC Motor Controller Integration

Designed to fit directly into your existing robotic platforms, power stages, and host computers.
